Don’t let your reviewing efforts go unnoticed! There are some great ways to get recognition for your review.
When you submit a review to New Phytologist, there is an option to opt in to receiving recognition via Web of Science’s Reviewer Recognition Service on the review form. Once opted in, the manuscript ID and journal details will automatically transfer to your Web of Science profile. Here you can list your contributions to peer review even if the manuscript is not published. There is also the option to transfer your recognised reviews from Web of Science to your ORCID profile.
Recognising co-reviewers
At New Phytologist, we encourage co-reviewing as we recognise that co-reviewing a paper can be a valuable exercise, especially to those in the early stages of their careers.
If you have co-reviewed a paper, your co-reviewer can also receive recognition via Web of Science. You can either follow these instructions or the co-reviewer can email reviews@webofscience.com with the details of their review to add it to their Web of Science profile.
Certificates of review
If you would like more formal recognition of your review in the form of a certificate, please contact our Central Office team and we will send you a personalised certificate of review.
