New Phytologist review search

Arthur Tansley drawing

New Phytologist publishes three* types of review articles. These include our in-depth Tansley reviews and our shorter, focussed Tansley insights in addition to our mid-size Research reviews. With the exception of Research reviews, which may be submitted at any time, all other review types are by invitation-only. Enquiries or suggestions about reviews are of course welcome at any time (contact Holly Slater, Senior Commissioning Editor: np-managinged@lancaster.ac.uk).

* Minireviews were published between 2009 and 2015 in association with the Tansley Medal competition. See more at newphytologist.org/tansleymedal

Search tips:

  • By default all inputted terms are surrounded by wildcards. For example a keyword search for ‘gene’ will display results for ‘gene’, ‘genes’ ‘genetics’, ‘transgene’, ‘morphogenesis’ etc.
  • Common search operators such as AND, OR, NOT, asterix(*), commas, quotation marks, are not enabled and will be treated as part of the search term. We suggest you restrict searches to single-word or short terms.
  • There is an implicit ‘OR’ operator between the search fields. For example a search for 'mycorrhiza' in the Keyword field and 'root' in the Title field will display all results with the keyword 'mycorrhiza' or 'root' in the title (as well as any results with both).
