Biography

Professor of biological sciences in Henan university; member of organizing committee for Asian Forum on Chronobiology; executive member of Chinese Society for Biological Rhythm. She received Ph.D. in cell biology from Hebei Normal University in 2002, studying cell signalling transduction. She then completed a postdoc at Vanderbilt University (Carl H. Johnson's lab, 2002-2006) where she investigated the circadian modulation of cytosolic free calcium oscillations in Arabidopsis. In 2006-2010, she was employed by Dartmouth College as research associate (C. Robertson McClung's lab) and analysed the circadian gene expression in Brassica rapa. In 2010, she set up her own laboratory and found that RVE-LNK and PRRs-BBX protein complex are involved in TTFLs of the circadian clock as transcriptional regulators. In recent years, her laboratory discovered the role of soybean circadian genes in flower timing and drought stress response.
