Invited Speaker -  49th New Phytologist Symposium

Biography

Nori obtained his Ph.D. in Agriculture from Nagoya University in 2005 under the supervision of Prof. Takeshi Mizuno. He then worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at RIKEN, Japan, where he studied the molecular mechanisms of the plant circadian clock until 2011. In 2011, he joined the Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences at Nagoya University as an Assistant Professor. He subsequently moved to the Institute of Transformative Bio-Molecules (ITbM) at the same university, where he initiated research aimed at identifying small molecules that modulate the plant circadian clock. In 2021, he was appointed Professor at the Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences, Nagoya University.
