A Society Publishing Consortium (BioCore) announced today the continued growth of the Trust Seal initiative.
The New Phytologist Foundation, an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing plant science through publishing and scientific collaboration, has also joined the initiative as a Supporting Member.
“Plant science and plant-focused research plays a vital role in addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges, from food security and biodiversity to climate resilience. Progress in these areas depends upon the publication of trustworthy, high-quality research,” said Sarah Lennon, Executive Editor of The New Phytologist Foundation.
“The New Phytologist Foundation is proud to support the Trust Seal initiative and contribute to a collaborative effort that promotes best practices, strengthens confidence in scholarly publishing, and helps ensure researchers can build on science they trust,” Sarah emphasised.
