  • Joint 2nd prize: Kasper Coppieters (University of Ghent) “Lianas cool down tropical forest understories by increasing evapotranspiration”

  • Joint 2nd prize: Timo Metz (Technical University of Darmstadt) “How biodiversity recovers from perturbation: Resistance and resilience of a tropical rainforest”

Poster presentation:

  • 1st prize: Kaare Christophersen (Aalborg University, Denmark) “Using AI to uncover “hidden” species interactions: using incomplete data on tropical seed-dispersal networks underestimates robustness to extinctions”

  • 2nd prize: Gabriela Escaliente (iDiv / Fridrich Schiller University Jena) “Biodiversity effects on leaf and litter volatiles composition”
