Interaction networks and trait evolution

Travel

Zürich Airport is a large international airport, only a short distance away from the University. Tram line 10 runs regularly from the airport to the University and takes approximately half an hour. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport, which will take under 20 minutes.

Zürich Main Station (Zürich HB) is a 15 minute walk away from the University. There are also regular tram services between the station and the University, which take between 10 and 15 minutes.

Visa

If you require a visa to enter Switzerland, please visit https://www.sem.admin.ch/sem/en/home/themen/einreise.html for more information.

If you require a letter of invitation, the New Phytologist Trust, working together with our local organiser, will provide a letter of invitation upon request. To be eligible to request a letter of invitation, you must first register and pay to attend the 43rd New Phytologist Symposium.

Once you have registered, please contact us and we will send you more information.

Due to the fact that an application for a visa can be a lengthy process, the New Phytologist Trust recommends that you start your visa application process early: 90 to 120 days prior to the conference. We would also like to note that in issuing you with a letter of invitation, it is not a commitment from the symposium or the organisers to provide any financial support, and you will still need to apply for a visa.
