New Phytologist, one of the world’s leading plant science journals (ISI Impact Factor 6.545), seeks a Development Coordinator. You will assist the Managing Editor in publishing of the journal and in implementing activities for the journal’s short- to long-term development. You will develop, coordinate and implement marketing plans for the journal and associated charitable activities, including representation at scientific meetings, maintain the journal websites, and be proactive in developing online initiatives to enhance our outreach (e.g. through social media and online content) and to improve the functionality of the online journal. You will also assist in the organization of the internationally renowned series of New Phytologist Symposia. You will have a scientific background, an understanding of online communities and social media, excellent communication and organizational skills, and be highly motivated and able to work well in a team.
