Last updated: 8 Aug, 2017

The New Phytologist Trust is currently exhibiting at the Ecological Society of America Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon. Visit Development Coordinator Mike Whitfield at Booth 806 to hear more about the New Phytologist, our new journal, Plants, People, Planet, and for giveaways.

We are also very proud to support the New Phytologist Trust lecture, which was given this year by Tom Lovejoy of George Mason University. Tom’s lecture is titled “Look Back Lest you Fail to Mark the Path Ahead”.

The recent 39th New Phytologist Symposium was also highlighted in IGN6 - Trait-Based Methods for Representing Change in Belowground Ecosystems on Tuesday August 8th, where symposium organiser Stan D. Wullschleger of Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, TN provided an overview of the symposium held in Exeter, UK, in June.

Finally, the New Phytologist Trust is honoured to support the ESA Physiological Ecology Section awards, including the The Dwight Billings Award for Physiological Ecology, and the New Phytologist award for best poster as well as the ESA Biogeosciences Section Best Student Presentation Award. Watch out for news on this year’s winners!
