The 5 star Paradise Mare provides first-class conference facilities – all set against the beauty of the Aegean. 

Our overall goal for the Symposium is to explore the potential of combining next generation sequencing techniques, metagenomic approaches and quantitative plant genetics to infer first principles underlying the organization of plant–microbe communities.

We hope that the outcome of this Symposium will contribute to the establishment of best practices for studies on the microbiota of plants in both laboratory conditions and in natural settings.

Maps and directions

From the airport – Rhodes Airport (Diagoras International) is 20km from the hotel.  Travel by car or taxi takes approximately 20 minutes.  Taxis from the airport to the hotel cost approximately 40-50 euro; major car rental companies have desks at the airport.

From Rhodes city – approximately 5km from the hotel.  There is easy access by bus, with a bus stop directly outside the hotel entrance.  Buses run frequently and the cost is 2 euro each way.  Taxis from town are available 24-hr per day and cost 10-15 euro between town and the hotel.
